What is a Legal Review?
Municode has a staff of attorneys that work out of our Tallahassee campus. It is this commitment that separtes us from the marketplace. Many of our attorneys have over 30 years of experience in municipal law.
A Legal Review is a great way to stay informed about the state law changes in your state. Municode can perform a review of your code to notify you of any legal changes that need to be made.
One of our staff attorneys performs a legal review of the existing code and subsequent ordinances of a general and permanent nature against state statutes and court decisions. Municode then provides a legal manuscript consisting of the recommendations in strike through and underline along with comments backing up the recommendations. A resume of our staff is available upon request.

Conference
The attorney that reviewed your legislation can either travel to you to conduct the legal conference or set up a teleconference to discuss the recommendations contained within the legal manuscript.
MCC can implement the legal review as a phase by phase Recodification that can be performed over many years to accommodate your budget. You can also implement the legal review by adopting individual ordinances to effectuate the changes.
