Legislation Integration between Meetings Software and Your Municipal Code

Municode is helping local governments increase the transparency of civic management with their newest integration. Local governments can now keep a historic record of specific public meetings where proposed ordinances were discussed. We designed this integration to save staff time and give the community more information about how their local laws are created, amended and passed. This new level of transparency helps local governments better maintain records of both public meetings and legislation. 

With the push of a button, you can now automatically send newly-adopted legislation between your Municode Meetings Software and your Online Code Platform, MunicodeNEXT. Users may select ordinances from completed meetings and have them immediately show on the landing page of their Online Code. Once codified, the history note referencing the ordinance will link back to the meeting detail page containing the audio, video, and supporting agenda documents specific to the meeting during which the ordinance was discussed.
